Comedienne Ethel Booba recently announced her pregnancy in the Kapmailya noon time show ‘It’s Showtime’ which came as a surprise not only to fans but also to her upon learning that she is having a baby.
During her guesting in the morning show ‘Magandang Buhay,’ the 42-year-old comedienne shared how she was not expecting to have a baby with her boyfriend Jessie Salazar who is the same age as her.

Ethel said as quoted by ABS-CBN News: “Na-shock ako, kasi wala talaga akong balak mag-baby. Kasi ang dami ko nang inalagaan [na pamangkin].”
“Hindi ko na ineexpect na makakabuo ako. Sabi ko, okay lang na hindi ako magkaka-baby, basta mapalaki ko lang yung mga pamangkin ko. Pero biglang dumating,” Ethel added.
Ethel then revealed that she kept her pregnancy from her family for a while and explained: “Ayoko rin silang mag-worry, gusto ko nakakakilos din ako sa bahay. Ngayon nga e nung nalaman nila ang OA na. Gusto nila nakahilata na lang ako lagi.”
Ethel and Jessie are expecting a baby girl.
