Singer model Frankie Pangilinan shared her opinion regarding a statement made by Health Secretary Francisco Duque III regarding the travel ban from travelers coming from the United Kingdom. A new strain of COVID-19 was reportedly spreading fast in UK.
The virus has reportedly reached other countries like Japan, Singapore, New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam and other countries.
Duque during a briefing presided by President Rodrigo Duterte issued the following statement regarding the said issue: “Travel ban will be considered only once community transmission of the new variant has been recorded in the country.”
On her Twitter account, Frankie quoted a report regarding the said remarks and tweeted the following:
