Philippine bet Gazini Ganados took the Miss Universe 2019 by storm by parading a Philippine Eagle-inspired costume created by Filipino designer Cary Santiago. The event was held at Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Georgia, USA.
The metalli and bodyfitting is flanked by two life-sized Philippine Eagles on her shoulders. The Philippine Eagle is the country’s national bird.

“I created a national costume that is somehow worthy for an international event. I took my inspiration from our national bird. The design is not as flamboyant but the details are very intricate. Its hand-stitched all coming from the same fabric with my signature laser cut patterns.” said Cary.
