Singer actress Geneva Cruz called the attention of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” executive to change the “Pop Royalty” given to her by the said show. The ‘Pop Royalty’ belonged to singer actress Sarah Geronimo.
Apparently, fans and followers of Sarah reacted to the said title being used for Geneva, prompting Geneva to appeal to Sarah’s fans not to be upset with her.
“Sa fans ni Sarah G., please don’t be upset with me; I didn’t ask them to give me that title, nagulat din ako na yan ang tawag sakin. I just want to be called by my name, and I only want to perform and not offend anyone.
I just asked the show’s EP from ABS-CBN to change their description of me para walang confusion.” said in a post made by Geneva but is now deleted on Facebook.
