“No, we’re okay.” This is how actor Gerald Anderson answered the question about his rumored breakup with actress Julia Barretto.
“I drove her to the airport [before this interview]. She is flying to Dubai,” said Gerald during his interview with TV host actress Toni Gonzaga.
Julia and Gerald were rumored to have broken up due to a number of reasons, one of which is Julia’s alleged removal of their photos on social media which Gerald denied.
“It’s sad that it has become the public’s basis.” said Gerald.
It is not a perfect relationship admitted Gerald but he considers it a blessing for the challenges made their relationship even grow stronger.
“five years. There were many bumps in the road but I think they are all blessings because it made us even stronger. When you go through something like that and you see that your partner is emotionally strong, you know that it was worth it,” Gerald said.
When asked what made Julia unique and special, Gerald replied:
“She has the poise, the grace, the maturity. There were even times when it felt like she’s more mature than me.”
