Gerald Anderson joins Coast Guard’s community pantry

Actor Gerald Anderson took off his hat as an actor and assumed his role as PH Coast Guard auxiliary officer with rank of lieutenant commander. Gerald joined the coast guard in their own version of community pantry where they distribute goods for deserving citizens.

Gerald and others went to Botolan Zambales to distribute the goods.

Sunrise, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-Station Botolan, along with LCDR Gerald Anderson of PCG Auxiliary (PCGA), to start #Ocean Solidarity in Botolan, Zambales today, 29 of April 2021.

Yesterday, April 28, 2021, the PCG team helped prepare 100 food packs containing 100 kg rice, 28 pieces canned goods, and 2021 packs Instant noodles.

They also put a couple packs of coffee to combat sleepiness in the middle of the ocean.

According to LCDR Anderson PCGA, he cooperated with the launch of ‘Ocean Solidarity’ to support hardworking fishermen who help to maintain adequate food supply in Botolan, even in the midst of pandemic.”
