Gerald Anderson’s mother Evangeline Opsima decided to air out her sentiments over the controversy involving her son after his alleged break up with actress Bea Alonzo.
In her interview with ABS-CBN News, Opsima directly addressed Bea and expressed her disappointment over her interviews regarding her split with Gerald and defended her son from the actress’ statements.

Opsima also gave her message to actress Julia Barretto and warned her not to fall for her son considering their age gap and their job as showbiz personalities.
While she broke her silence regarding the issue, Opsima apologized to her son for voicing out her side regarding the matter.
She said: “I’m sorry RJ, I know you’re going to get mad to Mama. I think, son, it’s time to voice out anong naramdaman ko, saan nasasaktan si Mama.”
Meanwhile, Gerald, Bea, and Julia have not given their reaction over Opsima’s recent interview.
Speculations about Bea and Gerald’s break up sparked after the actress shared a cryptic post on her Instagram account. She later claimed that she and Gerald did not have a formal break up and that the actor “just started not talking” to her.
Gerald later denied that a third party was involved, followed by Julia’s statement also denying her involvement in the former couple’s split.
