In one of her posts, Gigi expressed her honest thoughts and sentiments as she revealed the real reason why she decided to cut her hair short. It can be recalled many netizens expressed mixed reactions and opinions over the short hairstyle of Gigi.
According to Gigi, she decided to have a short hairstyle not just for having a new look but because of her mother who was suffering from stage 4 breast cancer.
“Ang daming hindi nakakaalam. Kasi ang nasabi ko lang sa social media is para new look. Which is hindi po talaga yung reason. Ang daming hindi nakakaalam nito, Mommy ko po may stage 4 breast cancer, maiksi po ang hair niya. So gusto ko po kapag makikita ko siya parehas kami halos ng iksi ng hair.” Gigi shared.
“Pero ito po hindi ko po kaya yung semi kalbo o kaya parang boy cut talaga. So ayon po para hindi na po kayo magtanong at magsabi sa akin bakit ka nagpagupit. Ayan alam niyo na…” Gigi added.
