TV host Gretchen Ho reacted to the monologue of comedian Jo Koy during the 81st Golden Globe Awards, which was hosted by the comedian.
Netizens criticized Jo Koy for a lackluster performance, and the comedian got the most reaction when he joked about NFL and Taylor Swift.
“I got the gig 10 days ago! You want a perfect monologue? Yo, shut up. You’re kidding me, right? Slow down. I wrote some of these, and they’re the ones you’re laughing at.” said Jo Koy.
On Twitter, Gretchen posted the following in reaction to Jo Koy’s statement:
“Hosts are always, always responsible for their scripts. Whether it’s your own or not, at the end of the day, it’s your face and career on the line. This was such a huge stage, and a wasted opportunity”
