Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque during his online press conference invited Filipinos to visit Boracay as the beautiful island resumed its operations last October 1, 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the island of Boracay was closed for health reasons.
“Ang mensahe po ng Presidente, kinakailangang mabuhay po tayo sa kabila ng COVID-19. Panahon na po para tayo ay magbakasyon matapos ng napakatagal na lockdown, lalong-lalo na sa Metro Manila,” said Roque.
“Nagaantay na po ang pinakamagandang beach sa buong mundo. Boracay, open for business.” Roque added.
On his Facebook page, Roque posted a video showing his recent visit to Boracay.
