Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque Jr. denounced the trending of “#NaasanAngPangulo” online at the height of Typhoon Ulysses. Roque said President Rodrigo Duterte is always on top of the situation monitoring everything that is happening in our country – specially during calamities.
In a press briefing, Roque said the President is constantly monitoring developments in different parts of the country.
“Hindi po dapat tanungin ‘Nasaan ang Pangulo.’ Iyan po ay kalokohan lang ng oposisyon. Ang presidente po ay hindi nawawala, palagi po natin siyang kapiling, palagi po niyang iniisip ang kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan,” said Roque.
Roque said the opposition is behind the #NasaanAngPangulo trending topic at the height of Typhoon Ulysses.
“Oposisyon, itigil nyo na yan dahil kung ikokompara nyo po ang ibang casualties sa ibang administrasyon, sa casualty ngayon ay napakaliit ng casualty natin bagama’t ang aim po natin talaga zero casualty pa rin,” added Roque.
