Actress Heart Evangelista shared with her fans and followers her own rituals in sanitizing her ukay-ukay finds which included using detergent, a disinfectant spray for bags and shoes, and Holy Water. Heart recently went into an ukay-ukay shopping spree as she missed attending fashion events due to the pandemic.
Heart admitted that her personal rituals might sound scary but she is just being careful.
“This was given to me by a dear friend of mine who is a priest from one of the churches here. This is Holy Water. I do believe in cleansing your old stuff. Like stuff that wasn’t yours because I do believe in the concept of ‘familiar spirits.’ said Heart.
“I know this is kind of scary but I love wearing vintage so I have to be just very careful. So you have to cleanse that, and you just put it on the outfit, pray over it, and make sure there are no ‘familiar spirits’ that will carry on to your life.” added Heart.
“Because sometimes they say that ‘malas’ can be passed over and other stuff, so you wanna cleanse that. So you have to make sure that you cleanse it, clean it, and cleanse it spiritually.” ended Heart.
