After serving as mayor in Quezon City, Herbert Bautista is set to have a showbiz comeback as he is currently part of the scriptwriting workshop of the veteran writer Ricky Lee.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Herbert was asked if he is willing to make a movie with the queen of all media Kris Aquino, now that she will be starring in a movie entry for the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.

The former QC mayor answered: “Aba bakit hindi? Kailangan ko nga ng trabaho e.”
When asked about his reaction on Kris’ upcoming MMFF movie, Herbert said: “In fact, dapat nasa mainstream siya and I think meron siyang Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) that’s good for her.”
