Netizens have been asking as to why actress Judy Ann Santos was not nominated for the 43rd Gawag Urian Awards 2020. In a Facebook post, the award givng body released the list of the Best Actress Nominees – and they are:
Kathryn Bernardo (“Hello, Love, Goodbye”), Alessandra de Rossi (“Lucid”), Max Eigenmann (“Verdict”), Angie Ferro (“Lola Igna”), Jean Garcia (“Watch Me Kill”), Janine Gutierrez (“Babae at Baril”), Nadine Lustre (“Ulan”), Anita Linda (“Circa”), Bela Padilla (“Mañanita”), Sue Prado (“Alma-Ata”) and Ruby Ruiz (“Iska”)
Fans and followers of Judy Ann were surprised that their idol was not nominated for her performance for the movie “Mindanao.”
On her Instagram account, Judy posted a photo with a simple caption prompting netizens to wonder if this is the reaction of Judy Ann for not being nominated:
“Look up and be grateful for blessings..”
