Star Struck alumna, Iwa Moto surprised the netizens as she bravely admitted that she is diagnosed with PTSD and RLS. PTSD stands for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder while RLS means Restless Leg Syndrome.
Although she did not detail-out the onset of her current mental state, she seems very fearless of the possible prejudices that might occur.

In her official IG account @iam_iwa, she shared a close-up photo of her and captioned it, “Bipolar with severe panic attack disorder, PTSD and RLS… yup i am diagnosed… and everyday I struggle to live my life as normal as possible. It’s hard for me to wake up and sleep.. to control my emotions. To be as jolly as I used to be. And to be ME. But everyday I fight my condition. I take my meds., and i put on a smile. I am surviving everyday.. having mental health issues is hard. Esp with the stigma. But its ok.. I have accepted it and I AM OK with it. I am learning to live with it, but at the same time doing my best not to be defined by my illness. I am striving to become a better version of me everyday. I AM A WARRIOR.”

Bipolar and anxiety have been very visible among citizens around the world in recent years. Celebrities are not exempted and yet, the stigma of having such condition is somehow very devastating. Nevertheless, Iwa is telling everyone that she is fighting it and believes she can surpass this stage of her life.
