Fans and followers of actress Jaclyn Jose were surprised after the versatile actreess announced her retirement from the entertainment industry.
Jaclyn made the announcement by posting her red carpet walk at the GMA Thanksgiving Gala while that instrumental version of Jose Mari Chan’s “Beautiful Girl” playing in the background.
“I am retiring, maraming salamat po,” said Jaclyn.
In the comment section, Jaclyn added “Masakit but… I know I have to go.”
At 58, Jaclyn is considered one if not the best actress of her generation. Her portrayal of various roles from ‘bida’ to ‘kortrabida’ will really make a mark in any projects she is involved in.
