Kapamilya star Jane De Leon finally broke her silence over the issue of fellow Kapamilya star Regine Velasquez’s non-participation in the ABS-CBN’s “Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series”.
It can be recalled that recently, news about Regine’s appearance in the finale of the said TV series went viral. However, Regine’s appearance in the Finale didn’t push through allegedly because of Jane. Rumor has it that Jane was ‘nag-inarte’.
After the said rumor went viral, JRB Creative Production released an official statement of the non-participation of Regine as they clarified that it didn’t push through because of the schedules of the two Kapamilya stars.
“Bilang paglilinaw, hindi natuloy ang guesting ni Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez sa ‘Mars Ravelo’s Darna dahil hindi napagtugma ang schedule nila ni Jane de Leon. Buong puso kaming nagpapasalamat kay Regine sa malugod niyang pagtanggap sa aming imbitasyon.” JRB Creative Production wrote.
In a media conference ahead of the Finale of the said TV Series, Jane can’t help but express her honest thoughts and sentiments when the question about the issue was asked.
“May napabalita po kasi na si Regine Velasquez ang dapat pasabog sa ending ng Darna. Kumbaga maghaharap sila ni Jane, pero ayun, bakit daw po hindi natuloy?” one member of the press asked.
“Actually for me, it was not an issue naman to begin with. Sadyang hindi lang talaga nag tugma yung schedule namin ni ate Reg. I think that’s very normal naman when it comes sa lahat ng artist. And ginagawa niya yung rehearsal niya for her upcoming concert.
And that time din kasi I had my endorsement shoots and shows so we tried to adjust our schedules. Sadyang hindi na talaga kami pinayagan.” Jane shared.
“But guys please don’t forget to support ate Reg sa upcoming concert niya on February 17,18, 24 and 25. Solo concert ni Ate Reg.” Jane added.
