Jane De Leon has been gearing up for her upcoming role as the newest Pinay superheroine ‘Darna’ but apart from undergoing training, Jane has also been taking some advice from celebrities who were previously tapped to take on the character.
In her interview with Push, Jane revealed that she had the chance to have dinner with Liza Soberano who were supposed to portray the role but later backed out due to her finger injury.

Jane shared without disclosing details about her meeting with Liza: “Na-meet ko na si Liza. We had dinner already.”
Apart from Liza, Jane also mentioned Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez’s interviews where they gave their advice to the new ‘Darna’.
Jane said: “Actually I saw ‘yung interview nina Ms. Sharon Cuneta and Ms. Regine Velasquez, ‘yung nagbigay sila ng advice sa akin. Nakaka-touch lang. Kasi di ko inexpect coming from them na magbigay sila ng advice sa akin.”
The actress also shared how she is looking forward to meet Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera who also portrayed the role of the Pinay superheroine.
