Kapamilya star Janella Salvador expressed her honest sentiments as she opened up on what she felt after giving birth to her son, baby Jude.
In an interview with Metro.Style, Janella revealed that she is still dealing with confidence issues as she admitted that she lost a lot of confidence after she gave birth to baby Jude.
“I wouldn’t say I got fully depressed, but there are many times until now that I have to remind myself that, ‘Hey, you gave birth to a human, that’s pretty amazing, that’s pretty hard.’ Because, after giving birth, I really lost confidence in myself, a lot of confidence, like nawala lahat ng vanities sa katawan ko.” Janella shared.
“Like when I look in the mirror, I don’t really see myself anymore… It did take a toll on my confidence but now I’m slowly trying to take care of myself more, get some self-care in and try to get my old self back,” Janella added.
Meanwhile, Janella also admitted that she ‘somehow lost herself’ as she shared stunning photos of her on her Instagram account, taken when she was still pregnant.
“There are no words to perfectly describe what being a mum is like so far— but one thing I have learned is that although I may have somehow lost myself, I gained my purpose.” Janella wrote in the caption.
