Actress Janella Salvador is being accused of putting “It’s Showtime” host Kim Chiu into shame after the later requested her to perform her new single and Janella refused.
Janella guested on “It’s Showtime” and was asked by Kim to sing her new single “HeadTone.” The conversation went this way:
Karylle: “She has a new song dba?
Janella: “headtone, stream headtone”
Kim: “Sample, sample naman Janella sa bago mong song”
Janella: “Medyo paos ako today, KAYO NALANG”
Kim: “Ah sige pakinggan nalang namin sa Spotify”
Netizens particulary fans of Kim did not like that Janelle answered Kim’s request:
– “Im just a casual viewer pero kung magpo-promote ka ng concert at ng bagong kanta, isn’t a favor to you kung ipaparinig mo kanta mo?”
– “Knowing na sa Showtime sya nag guest eh dyan nga nag umpisa yung trend na sample sample tapos di sya prepared. Kaloka. Buti di sya nag judge sa any contest ng Showtime baka sabihin nya din pagod sya.”
– “Kim is not at fault here, she was doing her job as a host. Janella was there to promote, so Kim was actually doing her a favor when she asked her for a sample on her song. Janella’s answer was arrogant. If you tell me that she was just joking, then her song is a joke then? ”
