Kapamilya star Janine Gutierrez expressed her thoughts and opinions when she was asked about the rumors that she will be portaying the role of “Valentina” in the upcoming ABS-CBN’s TV series titled “Darna”.
In an online media conference as a new artist of ABS-CBN, Janine was asked “their so excited to see you as Valentina actually. What can you say, what can you share with us about that prospect. Have you been offered and if you will be, will you accept it.”

ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe clarified that the question is just a possibility. “feeling ko it came from those tweets when you were welcome and then everyone was saying ‘uy bagay siya as Valentina’ parang ganun. Yun yung context nun ha.”
Janine answered “it’s so interesting to me. Kasi of course I’m a fan of Darna. I’m a fan of all the old films. Actually parang meron akong napanuod before na yung lola ko nag Valentina. I’m not sure ha pero parang nung bata ako. So it’s interesting at siyempre flattered ako na nakikita ako ng ibang tao na mapasama sa ganung klaseng proyekto. So I don’t know, we’ll see.”
