Former broadcaster Jay Sonza was based by netizens for his remarks against the ambush incident involving actress Kim Chiu. The van of Kim was riddled with bullets and the actress and her team narrowly escape the said ambush.
Sonza on the other hand felt the said incident was a “isang malaking DRAWING.”
Netizens felt that the remarks made by Sonza was insensitive and most of them wished that Sonza will suffer the same fate.
On his Facebook account, Sonza reacted to those who wished him ill saying:
“Para doon sa mga naghangad at nagdasal na mamatay na sana ako via twitter kagabi, here is my message to you:
Sige mauna na po muna kayo. busy pa kasi po ako. siguro pag naubos na kayo, maaring pag-iisipan ko susunod ako.
Salamat po at pinagkaabalahan pala ninyo ako kagabi. Hindi ko napansin kasi sarap ng tulog ko dahil maulan at saka nakadobol ako ng cognac bago nahiga. Dalangin ko yumaman at gumanda sana ang araw ninyo.”
