Multi-awarded TV broadcaster Jessica Soho shared her body shaming experience courtesy of netizens. Jessica made the revelation during her online guesting on Howie Severino’s podcast.
Jessica narrated the time when the iPad was launched, netizens ridiculed her and say mean things about her.
“Remember when they launched the iPad and then some wise guy tweeted, ‘Oh, the iPad, when Jessica Soho holds the iPad, it looks like the iPhone.’ So you know, I was body-shamed for that,” said Jessica.
“I said, What is this? I don’t know how to navigate social media at all. I don’t understand why people are so brazen and so mean. It’s because of this anonymity.” added Jessica.
