Actress Jessy Mendiola showed to her fans and followers the process of making of her civil wedding dress.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Jessy documented the time when she visited her fashion designer friend, Patricia Santos for the fitting of her wedding dress.
“Siguro by the time na mapanuod niyo ‘to, tapos na yung wedding namin. Siyempre kaya naming late gustong ipakita sainyo kasi gusto naming ma-enjoy yung privacy at the same time, gusto naming nang our own little bubble bago namin i-announce sa mundo na Mrs. Manzano…” Jessy shared.
In the same vlog, Patricia also shared that since there will be two weddings, they wanted the first dress to be ‘really’ different from the gown on her second wedding ceremony.
During the fitting, Jessy and Patricia also shared some tips.
“Meron nagsabi sa akin nito na ‘Tipirin mo nang lahat wag lang ang gown mo… I mean, it’s your special day. Ikaw ang bida ng event na to. Siyempre, the groom also, but it’s your day. Kumbaga dapat, kung saan feeling mo maganda ka, kung saan feeling mo kahit papaano pasok naman sa budget mo, go for it. Kasi siyempre importante yun, eh. Bakit mo naman titipirin yung magpapaganda sa yo di ba?” Jessy said.
Jessy also shared her ‘top 5 non-negotiable’ when it comes to their wedding planning.
“Ako, gown talaga. Yun talaga number 1. Hindi pwedeng tipirin yung gown ko. Hindi ako mapapakali nun… Pangalawa siyempre makeup, Importante yun… Third, importante din yung wedding bands para sakin kasi it’s a symbol of your marriage and forever niyo ng suot so dapat yung design ng wedding bands niyo, talagang gusto niyo.” Jessy shared.
“Fourth naman would be, para sakin gusto ko magaling na photographer isama na naten yung videographer… Yung pinaka last naman I think ia-add ko na rin yung venue, yung ambiance, yung freshness ng location…” Jessy added.
