Actress Jessy Mendiola reveals in an Instagram post that boyfriend Luis Manzano may be quiet about the ABS-CBN franchise issue, but he is doing something very important behind the scene – a job fair for the displaced workers of ABS-CBN.
Jessy said that the first reaction of Luis when the verdict was handed down by Congress was “paano yung staff ko?”

On her Instagram, Jessy posted her story because she is very proud of Luis for having a kind and helpful heart:
“This man has been working the phone for the past 3 days. Meron siyang ginagawang job fair group kasama ang ibang niyang mga kaibigan para mailipat at makatulong sa ibang kapamilya employees na nawalan ng trabaho.
Alam ko na hindi ko na dapat ito i-post. Pero sobrang proud ako sa’yo love. You’ve been putting others first before yourself. Ang pinakaunang reaksyon mo nung nahatulan ng denial ang franchise renewal “paano yung staff ko?” (meaning paano daw yung staff niya sa mga shows niya.) Hindi ka nagpopost about it, kaya ako na lang.
Sinasabi ng iba, tahimik ka lang daw sa kasagsagan ng nangyayari. Ang hindi nila alam…. gumagalaw ka na pala para sa mga nawalan ng trabaho. Hindi man lahat matutulungan mo, ang importante ginagawa mo lahat abot sa makakaya mo.
