Roger Tawile, father of actress Jessy Mendiola sent a message to her and her husband, actor and TV host Luis Manzano.
In Jessy’s latest YouTube vlog, she featured her father in celebration of Father’s day. In the said vlog, Jessy asked several questions to her father as they had a ‘heart-to-heart’ talk. One of the questions asked by Jessy to her father was his reaction when she told him about her marriage with Luis.
“Well I was happy. I was happy for you because, you know, when you get married, it’s your life. … And I asked you so many times before, ‘Baby, are you sure? Do you love him?’ And you said, ‘Yes, I love him. And I want to spend my future with him.’ So, for me, that’s enough… I just want you to be happy. That’s all. So if getting married with Luis makes you happy, Luis, it is…” Roger said.
Later on, Roger also gave a message to Luis as he joined them on their conversation.
“You… you take care of my daughter! I wish you a long and happy life. Just take care of each other and be happy all the time. Life is short…” Roger said.
“Yeah, we missed you here when we had the wedding. And you know, even if we don’t have a child or a daughter yet, I can only imagine how difficult it is for a father to see one of his daughters getting married. That entails a lot of trust, and I’m thankful for that, Tito. I hope to see you very, very soon…” Luis said.
