Kapamilya star Jimuel Pacquiao expressed what he felt on entering the Showbiz industry as he shared that he is thankful to go outside of the shadow of his father, Senator and boxing champ Manny Pacquiao.
In the ‘The Squad Plus Media Launch’, they introduced Jimuel Pacquiao, Nio Tria, Alyanna Angeles, Ashton Salvador and Analain Salvador as the newest talents of ABS-CBN.
During the interview, Jimuel expressed what he felt to be a part of ‘The Squad Plus’ and he admitted that he wanted to build his own name, outside the shadow of his father, Manny.
“At first po, I was kinda nervous kasi yun nga po I’m a newbie here in showbiz. So, I was kinda nervous at first and then… but very thankful kasi you know, judging from what other people see from TV now, from before, because of my dad. With this, this in on my own.
So, I get to get a name for myself now. So I’m very very thankful that I can be outside the shadow of my dad. You know, for the first time. Yeah, I’m very very happy.” Jimuel shared.
