Jinkee Pacquiao, wife of boxing icon Manny Pacquiao chose to forgive her critics than to engaged them in a further word war.
Jinkee was the target of criticisms because her outfit, bag, shoes and other accessories during the fight of Yordenis Ugas and Manny Pacquiao. Some criticized for being extravagant.
On her Instagram Story, Jinkee posted the following:
“By choosing to forgive you will not become a prisoner of bitterness.
“When you choose to forgive to those who hurt you, you enslave yourself to the destructive attitudes of bitterness and resentment.
“This attitude will begin to eat at your insides, day in and day out.
“Be free from prison of bitterness.”
Don’t allow yourself to be held captive by unforgiving heart.
“Remember, when you forgive someone, you set a prisoners free—yourself!
I chose to forgive”
On Instagram, Jinkee also posted:
“Bitterness is a poison to your soul. Jealousy kills your happiness. Insecurity destroys your goodness. No matter how good you are to the people, there is always a person who hates you for no reasons. But still continue to do good to them with the love of the Lord
