Talent manager and broadcaster Ogie Diaz can’t help but be shocked over the revelations of Fragrance mogul Joel Cruz during an interview.
In Ogie’s latest YouTube vlog, he featured Joel for an interview. During the interview, Joel opened up about the process of having his children through surrogacy. Joel shared that he decided to try having a child trough surrogacy in Russia when the three trials failed in the Philippines.
“Nag decide na ako na sabe ko, ‘wag na naten gawin sa Philippines baka ayaw talaga dito’. Saka nga bawal dito. Ginawa ko na outside the Philippines kung saan pwede ang single father, which is legal sa Russia.” Joel shared.
Later on, Ogie asked Joel if how much he spent for all the expenses.
“Well yung unang set (twins) ko… lahat lahat nuon ng gastos ko kasama yung eroplano, accommodation ko duon, lahat ng mga test ‘no. umabot ako ng 12 million pesos. Duon sa first set. Eh nag business class na ako na upuan. Siguro pwede ka naman bumaba duon kung mag e-economy class ka…” Joel shared as he added that the total cost also include the payment for the surrogate mother.
“So yung pangalawa mo? Siyempre pataas yan…” Ogie asked Joel.
“Alam ko medyo mas less duon eh. Duon sa pangalawa hindi siya umabot ng 12 naman eh. Parang 11 million siya eh. Dun sa pangalawa eh… siguro mas marami akong biyahe nuong ano eh. Itong first eh. Kasi nuong first ang hirap. Ang daming problema namen eh…” Joel said.
“Magkano naman inabot ka duon sa third set (twins)?” Ogie asked.
“11 million yun kasi dalawa eh.” Joel said.
“And then duon sa pang pito at pang walo po?” Ogie asked.
“Single, single, nasa mga 9 million (each)” Joel shared.
