Actor and TV host Joey De Leon can’t help but react to a netizen who lectured him over his statement with regards to COVID-19 vaccine.
In his Instagram account, Joey posted a photo of bananas to which he called “Choosy Fruit” as he expressed his thoughts and opinions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. According to Joey, regardless of the vaccine’s brand, what’s important is if it was approved by FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

Joey wrote:
“Yung iba ang tingin sa mga brands ng bakuna ay parang Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc. TANDAAN: Ang importante basta inaprubahan ng Food & Drug Administration (FDA), equal footing o pare-pareho na mga yan, effective at safe! Ang pinakamaayos magpaliwanag tungkol dyan para sa akin ay si Dr. Maria Rosario Vergeire. Basta may FDA approval na, WAG MATAKOT, MAKIBAKUNA!”
In the comment section, one netizen lectured him and wrote “”Magandang punto Mr. Henyo. Pero hindi 100% akma ang analogy sa procurement ng bakuna ng gobyerno. Halimbawa, nag pabili ka ng saging sa kumpare mo, ibinili ka nya ng 5 piraso 10 pesos isa so 50, masarap naman yung saging. Nalaman mo meron pala 7 pesos lang isa at mas masarap pa, tinanong mo kumpare mo, aware ba sya na may mas mura at mas masarap na saging? Sabi nya “oo pre, pinili ko talaga yung mas mahal at hindi kasing sarap ng 7 pesos, wag ka na choosy”… Parang ganon po idol 😊”
The said comment from the netizen caught the attention of Joey to which he answered “weii ang importante mabusog ka dahil gutim na gutom ka na!”
