Joey Reyes tells the difference between Pinoy teleseryes and K-Dramas

Multi-awarded Director Joey Reyes shared his views on the difference between Pinoy Teleseryes over K-Dramas. Filipinos simply love to watch teleseryes – be it Pinoy or Kdrama. But the success of Kdrama in the Philippines can be considered a phenomenon.

Not to mentioned Korean celebrities garnering a lot of following in the country. People go crazy with Korean stars.

On his Facebook page, Direk Joey pinpointed and compared the different between the two:

“START UP is about setting up businesses. IT’S OK NOT TO BE OK is about mental health. LIFE is about health care and business. ITAEWON CLASS is about dignity in ambition. SKY CASTLE is about parents and education. RECORD OF YOUTH is about choices in life and the sacrifices you make.

THIS is KDRAMA TODAY.

DIYOS KO, ‘DAY!”
