John Lloyd Cruz got his chance to tease script partner Bea Alonzo over her ex-boyfriend, Gerald Anderson. This happened during the Valentine’s Day Script reading event in one of the Ayala Malls.
The two participated in the event where they read the piece of ‘That Thing Called Tadhana”.

In the middle of the script, John Lloyd read a line that talks about his handsomeness. Bea reacted by saying, “Hiyang hiya daw sayo si John Lloyd”. Suddenly, John Lloyd continued, “Totoo naman, maiintidihan mo ba kung si Gerald Anderson yan?” This made Bea felt teased while the audience became loud.
Bea and John Lloyd have starred in several Box Office Hit movies where fans consider them as the best love team on cinema. Popoy and Basha are their iconic characters.
