Jollibee Foods Corp. announced that is has suspended the operation of its Bonifacio Global City branch after a netizen posted a photo showing a towel allegedly inside a Jollibee Chicken Joy.
Part of the netizen’s post reads “super hard to even slice. Tried opening it up with my hands and to my surprise a deep fried towel.”
Jollibee released its official statement regarding the matter on its Facebook page and it partially reads:
“We are deeply concerned about the this matter and have conducted a thorough investigation on the incident.
Jollibee has carefully developed and complied with food preparation systems to ensure that we deliver excellent quality products and customer satisfaction,” the company said, adding that it is already conducting a thorough investigation on the incident.”
