In the episode, the two stars had a scene where they bumped with each other and both fell on the ground, giving a hint at their characters’ romantic involvement in the series.
Joshua’s last television series was ‘Ngayon at Kailanman’ with his former girlfriend Julia Barretto. Meanwhile, Janella’s last television project was the ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ episode where she portrayed the role of singer Moira Dela Torre.
In a recent interview, Joshua and Janella shared how they have been offered several projects together that did not push through and that their current team up is the “right time” for them.
