Actors Allen Dizon and Judy Ann Santos bagged the Best Actor and Best Actress award respectively for their role in the movie “Mindanao.” Mindanao is an official entry for the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival produced and directed by Brillante Mendoza.
Judy Ann played the character of Saima while Allen played the character of Malang.
Also nominated for the Best Actor award were Roco Nacino for “Write About Love” and Aga Muhlach for “Miracle in Cell No. 7”
For the Best Actress category, Miles Ocampo was nominated for “Write About Love” and Carmina Villaroel for the horror movie “Sunod.”
