Actress Julia Barretto expressed her admiration to her aunt, actress Claudine Barretto.
In the media conference for the upcoming TV5 show starring Julia, Marco Gumabao and Marco Gallo titled ‘Di Na Muli’, Julia admitted that she is a fan of her aunt Claudine.
“I grew up watching your auntie Claudine sa mga series, may mga chance na nakikita namin yung ikaw sa pag-arte… Sa part mo ng acting skills mo, alin sa mga duon yung nakuha mo sakanya or naging inspired sakanya?” One member of the media asked Julia.
“Naku, nakuha? Naku, siguro wala. Siguro wala, kasi nag-iisa lang siya eh. Napaka husay niya and growing up, you know, I’ve been always vocal about this, I have always been a fan of her and of her work and of her projects. And I really look up to her growing up as an actress.” Julia shared.
“Pero again, siguro when it comes to our craft iba, we’re different and we’re different because again, iba siya. Iba talaga siya umarte at iba talaga siya. Pero ako naman, I try my best everyday and every time I’m given the opportunity…”
“I always try to be at my best and perform and deliver. I just want to make everybody around me proud and everybody who trusts with a project proud. I think that’s always been the goal is to help bring life to the character that I’m given…” Julia added.
