Julia Barretto shares mom Marjorie’s advice: “come out of the situation a better person and kinder”

Actress Julia Baretto shared the advice given to her her mom Marjorie Barretto on how to handle life challenges. Julia is no newbie when it comes to criticisms and hate comments from bashers.

In an online interview with Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez, Julia thanked her mom Marjorie for the support and valuable lessons in life.

“If there’s anything that I’m also thankful, it’s my mom who taught us to find the good in all the situations,” said Julia.

“I remember, at the height of all of those things taking place, I remember my Mom just saying one thing to me. She really sat me down: ‘Julia, no matter what happens, I want you to come out of the situation a better person and kinder. I don’t want you to become an angry person out of the situation. I want you to become a better person out of the situation.'” Julia shared.

“I think, basically, what’s she’s trying to tell me, she doesn’t want me to stop seeing the good in people and life. That’s still—up to these days—one of the things I keep close to my heart. In every situation that I have, just come out kinder and wiser.” Julia said.

“I still believe on that, up to these days. To keep going and being able to silence the noise around you. To be really able to listen to your thoughts and your own emotion. Don’t let anything stop you from your heart’s desire. You just really have to keep going. There’s so much more to life and you don’t wanna miss out on that just because of situation that’s probably unfortunate.” Julia added.
