Actress Julia Montes offered a prayer for ABS-CBN and its workers. ABS-CBN announced that starting August 31, 2020, the company will start its retrenchment program since it will be scaling down its operations after Congress denied the Kapamilya network its application to renew its franchise.
On her Instagram account, Julia posted a girl holding and hugging the logo of ABS-CBN with the following prayer:
