‘Kamiseta’ donates colorful PPEs to health workers

About a week ago, Aldeguer-Roque posted a movement from Kamiseta saying, “At its very core, Kamiseta has always been about bringing color into people’s lives. In light of the COVID-19 situation, we wanted to do just that. We will be donating specially made PPE’s to our front liners who have been the heroes of the Filipino people.”

Never in my wildest dreams, when I started @kamisetaph, @kamiseta.skin and @kamiseta.skincare that I imagined that we would be making clothes that would actually save people’s lives. This is a project that is really very important to me, a design that will forever be etched in my heart. We are always given opportunities to make more money, and make a go of our lives but an opportunity to save lives in our lifetime is a once-in-a-lifetime chance and it was given to me so I am proud and honored. ❤️⁣ ⁣ This is for you, our brave doctors, nurses, and hospital staff. ❤️ May we keep you safe and bring color and joy to you during this time as you put your lives on the line to save our country. And this is for you too, Philippines. 🇵🇭

This then serves as their pledge to donate 1000 pieces and more as needs demands. Holding on to her faith, Roque stands with Kamiseta in continuing their mission as posted in the recent IG pictures on the official Instagram account of Cris Aldeguer-Roque.
