Fans and followers of actress and TV host Karla Estrada can’t help but gush over her singing the Philippine National Anthem during the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Bobong Marcos.
In her Instagram account, Karla posted a short video. In the said video, Karla was seen singing the Lupang Hinirang. Karla expressed what she felt as she shared that it was a ‘great honor’ for her. Karla also congratulated President Bongbong for his first ever SONA as she wrote:
“It is with great honor to have the opportunity to lead the singing of the national anthem during the opening of the 19th Congress. 🇵🇭❤️
I have high hopes for this country. Dasal ko po na magampanan ng ating mga mambabatas ang kanilang tungkulin para sa ating bayan.
Congratulations to our President Bong Bong Marcos for his very first SONA. We got your back sir! And of course to my dearest Kababayan, Martin Romualdez,representative of Leyte’s 1st district be installed as the Speaker of the House.
I’m very proud of his achievements. Bilang kababayan niya, nakakaproud na maging bahagi ng historical moment na ito! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!❤️”
