Kathryn Bernardo shares ‘secret’ on maintaining her weight: “hindi totoo na hindi ako tumataba”

Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo shared her ‘secret’ on how she maintains her body weight despite her love for food.

In her latest YouTube vlog, Kathryn answered several questions from her fans and followers. One of the questions asked was, “How do you maintain your weight even you love eating.”

“Guys I love eating so much. I love food. Actually dipende sa food, diyan nag aano yung mood ko. Sobra akong napapasaya ng food… Yung secret lang diyan is to work out of course, number one. And two, kailangan mo yung perfect balance…” Kathryn shared.

“Kasi before, ginawa ko, nag work out ako, and then since I’m working out tapos nag ba-badminton pa ako nuon ang nasa isip ko, ‘ah okay I can eat whatever I want kasi pinapawis ko naman’. Oh my God! I was wrong. Siguro pwede yun kung bata pa ako. And now I’m 25, na feel ko na yung medyo bumagal yung metabolism ko. And hindi na ganun kabilis magpapayat. So, dapat pala you work out and still you eat the right food.” Kathryn added.

Kathryn shared that she now has her ‘cheat days’ which is Sunday and Thursday. Kathryn also recalled the time when she felt bad as she gained weight.

“Sobra akong nag gain… Hindi perfect like, don’t believe anything you see on Instagram. Of course pinopost ko yung maayos yung itsura ko, pero there was a time around March or April na I felt really bad kasi si mama na yung nag sabi saakin na nag gain talaga ako because, umiinom tapos kumakaen. Tapos, hindi lang balance lahat.” Kathryn shared.

“Inadjust ko yung kaen ko, I ate the proper food. Siguro mga 3 months, yun nabalik ko na yung ano ko, yung weight ko. So I think yung secret lang duon is, do not deprive yourself but do not over eat. You have to remember hindi naman na tayo bata. So you have to take care of your health. More than just being physically parang maganda kapag kumakaen ka ng tamang food….”

“It’s really for your health kasi na feel ko na na ang taba ko. So, hindi totoo na hindi ako tumataba. Tumataba din ako, siguro ginagawa ko lang now is I run, cardio, parang yun yung nag pa lose ng weight saakin… And then nag wowork din saakin, intermittent… Usually ako, 3 pm kumakaen ganun, 3 pm hanggang mga 10,11 yun lang…” Kathryn added.
