Actress KC Concepcion addressed body shaming issues as she flaunted her “Portuguese curves”. The 35 years old actress is the daughter of megastar Sharon Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion.
In her Instagram account, Kc expressed that she is proud of her body curves. “Serving you… a FILIPINA with LATINA CURVES. I’m here to celebrate all Filipinas who are like me. 🇵🇭” said KC.

She shared that she wouldn’t have it any other way. KC recalled that when she had her 3 years hiatus in showbiz, she got body shamed because she doesn’t have the typical Asian body which is stick thin like body shape. And just like any other women, it affected her mentally, emotionally and physically. With the pandemic and other issues happening, she realized that life should be celebrated and enjoyed.
“Like, why would I choose to develop an eating disorder over losing all the extra weight healthily? Why choose to lock myself up comparing myself to everyone else, when I could be dressing up for these fire feminine hips and that booty (that some girls even pay to have by the way)? 😋 Celebrate LIFE. Tomorrow is not promised.” KC added.
