Actress KC Concepcion expressed her love to mom Sharon Cuneta as she gave a heartful Mother’s Day message to the Megastar. KC said she is grateful to have Sharon for her mother.
“Grateful to call you my mother, and for everything you have taught me, even unknowingly. Having a mom like you is rare and a privilege not given to just anybody.” said KC.
KC admitted that she has been and is still an avid fan of her mom:
“I am her biggest f”an when I see her up on that stage, microphone in hand… I almost forget I’m her daughter while I watch in the audience. Ang galing lang talaga nya.”

I spent all of my childhood fully immersed in her songs. Her voice when she sings is the most relaxing thing in the world. I am her biggest f”an when I see her up on that stage, microphone in hand… I almost forget I’m her daughter while I watch in the audience. Ang galing lang talaga nya.
And backstage- if only you can all see what goes on behind the curtains- the show behind the scenes with mom is yet another thing to be amazed by and to admire. I grew up in studios watching this firecracker of a woman study and record her songs, rehearse and tape her shows, transform from one character to another, day after day, night after night. We would have late nights, but my heart was full because it meant I was spending time with mom.
I admire her laughter, her work ethic, excellence, passion and devotion to her craft (and fans!) more and more as time goes by.
