Actress Kim Chiu is set to star in a series inspired by her popular song “Bawal Lumabas.” The said statement was derived from a video message Kim gave to netizens at height of the ABS-CBN shutdown.
“Sa classroom may batas. Bawal lumabas. O bawal lumabas. Pero ‘pag sinabi, ‘pag nagcomply ka na bawal lumabas, pero may ginawa ka sa pinagbabawal nila, inayos mo yung law ng classroom niyo at sinubmit mo ulit, ay pwede na pala ikaw lumabas.”
On Instagram, Dreamscape Entertainment announced that a “Bawal Lumabas: The Series” starring Kim Chiu will be released soon.
The video posted comes with the following message:
“Ang buhay ay parang isang malaking classroom … where every mistake is a lesson learned. From learnings to blessings and coming this December Bawal Lumabas: The Series. Abangan!”
For her part, Kim expressed her appreciation for the new opportunity and blessings that came her way. She posted on Instagram the following:
“First time kong makita to kanina…..🥺 bumalik lahat,.. naiyak ako ng masaya.❤️ grabe. Salamat po.🤍 wala ako masabi.☝🏻”
