Kris Aquino explains relationship with brother Noynoy Aquino

Kris Aquino thanked her sisters Ballsy, Pinky, and Viel for the years of love and support they have accorded their ‘bunso.’ Kris posted a photo of the birthday cards given her by her loving sisters.

The photo comes with the following caption:

“it’s still my birthday so my sisters will forgive me for sharing with all of you what they wrote me for this birthday… i promised myself that you won’t read about our internal disputes, “tampuhans”, and misunderstandings… but i felt it was worthwhile to tell you we did go through some hurtful times from when i had my autoimmune diagnosis until recently… i give 100% credit to my Ate for keeping her PROMISE to our mom, that she would do her best to keep us united.

Our mom must be smiling now, because her daughters have made the steps to communicate more, support and understand each other, and respect that we will have differences… my sisters are very private, and nowhere have you ever read in any of my social media platforms that we had difficult times- thank God i was wise enough to keep everything to myself… i’m sure you also weren’t blind to notice that it was always my Ate i mentioned, that’s because i chose to remain truthful & didn’t share details best kept within our family.

Thanks mom, i know from heaven you wanted me to remember this to keep my heart strong and to never doubt that i am #loved. God bless you all. Today is a celebration of LOVE. If you’re blessed to still have your MOM- embrace her. If you have sisters, remind them just how much they mean to you. This BUNSO would like to tell my Ate, Pinky, and Viel- THANK YOU for loving me even when it’s been difficult, and for still believing that there’s a rainbow after all these storms… i love you very much, i am BLESSED to be Cory’s daughter, and BLESSED to be Ballsy, Pinky, and Viel’s baby sister. #sisters”

On the comment section, one netizen asked how about her kuya Noynoy Aquino? Kris replied:

“i had promised honesty — we aren’t “there” & it’s still a long journey needing mutual inclination and effort to communicate, understand, and rebuild. It is very different with SISTERS… Maybe rather than scrutinizing on what separates us— let’s focus on the love we do share for kuya josh?

Regardless of the nearly 2 years of NO communication – he & kuya remain constant text mates and my 2 sons see their tito noy regularly. HINDI nadamay ang mga inosente… Not that this should really be a situation people should judge, nevertheless i answered factually & lengthily because i don’t want to leave room for misinterpretation. #peace”
