Beauty queen-turned-councilor from Laguna Leren Mae Bautista was the object of ridicule and criticisms after basketball player Ricci Rivero admitted to the public that they are in a relationship.
Leren was accused of being the reason why Ricci and actress Andrea Brillantes broke up.
On Facebook, Leren made known her sentiments and feelings about the whole incident:
“Damage has been done and hurtful words have been said that scarred me deeply, but it wont stop me from doing what is right. 🤍
We rise by lifting others. Not the other way around.
At the end of the day, people will know, the TRUTH shall prevail.”
