Former beauty queen turned politician Leren Mae Bautista admitted that she is feeling sad that people thought that her boyfriend basketball play Ricci Rivero is not doing his laundry.
Ricci got that reputation because of a statement made by actress Andrea Brillantes. Andrea did not name name but said the following:
“Gusto ko lang sabihin, minsan kung hirap kang mag-move-on kailangan mo talagang isipin yung mga bahay na, talaga ba? Iiyakin ko ang isang lalaking hindi nagpapa-laundry ng isang taon?” Andrea said.
Most if not all jumped to conclusion that Andrea was referring to Ricci.
In an interiew with Leren, talent manager Ogie Diaz asked how she and Ricci are taking the said issue. Leren said that it’s sad that the said ‘labada’ story was tagged to Ricci.
“We’re just making fun of us na lang kasi nga di ba parang na-quote na rin na si ano hindi naglalaba.” said Leren.
“So parang kami, sige let just make fun of it na lang kasi kawawa din naman din siya since ganoon na nga yung tingin ng tao sa kanya na parang hindi nga daw siya naglalaba,” Leren added.
“So sabi ko gawin na lang nating light yung parang negative na ginagawa ng mga tao sa kanya,” Leren said.
Leren said that they have decided to move on and keep themselves busy with their respective careers.
