Kapuso star LJ Reyes emotionally opened up about her separation with fellow Kapuso star Paolo Contis.
In the latest episode of TV host Boy Abunda’s online show titled ‘The Interviewer’ on YouTube, LJ confirmed that she and Paolo are no longer together. According to LJ, their breakup is not a mutual decision.
“No tito Boy, hindi siya mutual. Kasi naniniwala po ako na kapag mutual ang isang desisyon, ito eh, pareho kayong sumasang-ayon na hindi na nagwo-work yung relationship…” LJ shared.
During the interview, Tito Boy also asked LJ if she tried to save their relationship.
“Did you try to save the relationship? Kasi partners naman kayo. It doesn’t have to, take the man or the woman, but one party has to try. Sinubukan mo? Did you try? Sumubok kang kapitan yung relasyon?” Tito Boy asked LJ.
“Yes tito Boy, sa totoo lang the past several months yun po yung ginagawa ko. Umabot na nga po sa point na, nag-break na po kami. Pero after a few days, na-realize ko na ‘di pwede ganito. May mga bata.’” LJ tearfully shared.
“Nagbaba ako ng pride kahit ako yung nasasaktan. Titiisin ko po yun para sa mga bata. Kasi Inisip ko baka kailangan nila ng complete family. Tinanong ko siya kung, ‘if you want to take us back.’ Pero hindi na daw…” LJ added.
