Entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis expressed her honest thoughts and opinions as she defended Ormoc City Mayor and actor Richard Gomez.
It can be recalled that recently, Richard expressed his support to presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos as he posted a photo of them together taken during his campaign rally in Ormoc City.
In Lolit’s Instagram account, she expressed her honest thoughts and opinions over the bashing that Richard has been receiving for supporting the said presidential aspirant. Lolit expressed her admiration to Richard as she said that he is one of ‘frank’ and ‘tutoong tao’ in the showbiz industry. Lolit also shared that people should respect Richard’s choice on who he will support.
“Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit kailangan ibash si Richard Gomez, Salve. Eversince, vocal si Richard Gomez sa kanyang choices, political o showbiz. Isa sa pinaka frank at tutoong tao si Richard sa showbiz. Kaya hindi nakapagtataka na ipakita niya ang open support niya sa team ni Bongbong Marcos. Kung BBM si Richard ano naman ang dapat ikagalit ng ibang partido.”
“Hindi nakialam si Richard Gomez sa choice nila, so dapat lang na igalang nila ang choice ni Richard. Hanga nga ako sa pagiging cool ni Richard Gomez sa gitna ng bashing dahil keber lang siya, hindi nagsalita o gumanti.
Basta Ok na Ok sa kanya ang pagiging free ng lahat na piliin kung sino ang gusto nila. Kung ako nga taga Ormoc, ipagmamalaki ko na meron silang Richard Gomez na vocal sa kanyang choices, kahit pa nga sabihin ayaw ng iba, honest siya na ipaalam kung kanino siyang side.
