Entertainment columnist Lolit Solis who recently celebrated her 77th birthday has one more wish in life – to reunite and reconcile with her former talent actor Gabby Concepcion.
Nanay Lolit and Gabby spent a lot of good year together being manager and talent until that much talked 1994 Manila Film Festival controversy.
On her Instagram post, Nanay Lolit made public her eagerness that she and Gabby will bury the hatchet if there is one and become good friends.
“Salve kahit na very happy ako sa birthday lunch ko mas buo sana ang ligaya ko kung nagpunta si Gabby Concepcion. Talagang ng makita ko lahat ng alaga ko, pumasok sa utak ko na sana dumating si Gabby para kumpleto sila lahat .
In fairness kahit nuon kainitan ng paghihiwalay namin as manager/ talent wala kang narinig na masamang salita between us. At iyon trust ni daddy Rolly Concepcion sa akin hindi nawala. Saka siguro naman maganda na ang mga buhay at career namin plus the maturity na inabot namin kaya dapat kalimutan na ang lahat.
Kung napanatili namin ni Nanette Medved na maayos ang lahat sa amin dalawa mula pa nuon hangga ngayon, bakit hindi kami magkaka ayos ni Gabby Concepcion.
Kalimutan na natin ang nakaraan Gabby, we can be good friends. No bad blood, no dark past. Friends please para bongga. Hope to see and talk with you soon, bongga”
